About Us

Hadleigh Baptist Church is a small church situated in the heart of the local community, where it has been a Christian witness to the surrounding streets and roads since the church first opened it's doors in 1926 - that is 8 decades of witness.

Over the years, and similar to most churches up and down the country, Hadleigh has experienced highs and lows, growth and decline. However today we continue to attract people of all ages and from all walks of life. A typical Sunday morning service sees on average well over 40 attending, including a number of families whose children are able to enjoy their own meetings.

Over the doors we have our mission statement - "Making Jesus known to all". This is central to all that we do here at Hadleigh, and although we may be small at present, we believe that God will add ot his church in the coming years as we endeavour to reach the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ
