Our Mission Statement is very simple
“Making Jesus known to all”
and is at the centre of all that we do
The Indian Orphanage – Hadleigh Baptist and Earls Hall Baptist Church have a strong link with a church and associated orphanage – The Living God Baptist Church, Suryapet, India. Members of both churches support the day to day running costs on regular basis and ad hoc events.
Here are some photos from Samson and Graceamma’s visit to the UK in July 2018.
Samson is the pastor of The Living God Baptist Church, Suryapet, India and founder of the Orphanage
Read the latest newsletter which chronicles a visit by Nick Alston in November 2018 and who was inspired to help the orphanage in practical ways.
We are set in the middle of the community and we are situated next to Westwood Court – sheltered accommodation and Westwood Academy. Regular visits are made to Westwood Academy and Hadleigh Infants schools to take assemblies. The children often visit the church to learn about what we do – this includes Christmas and Easter. Our car park is regularly used by parents/carers of children at Westwood Academy – this gives us the opportunity to speak to them as they pass backwards and forwards
Paul Stow has been conducting a “come and chat session” on a Monday morning in Costa Coffee in Hadleigh which has been well received by customers some of whom will generally speak to no one on a daily basis.
On the Saturday before Christmas we teamed up with Costa to offer a free drink to customers. Along with the drink everyone was invited to stay and enjoy and participate in the singing of carols.
Paul pictured here with members of the church singing group explained the meaning behind some of the carols and how the church had been involved in the celebration of Christingle in the local schools. Along with the services in the church on Christmas Eve 700+ oranges will have been prepared!! From the reaction of the customers the event was well received
